PokéSurvivor shiny odds: wild encounters vs gacha

Two different odds, one important distinction. No invented pity guarantees.

THE SHORT ANSWER

The creator’s checked README lists wild shinies at 1 in 4,096 and gacha shinies at 1 in 100 pulls. These are different encounter systems; neither figure means you are guaranteed a shiny after that many attempts.

Keep the two rates separate

Keep the two rates separate
SystemPublished rateHow to read it
Wild enemy1 / 4,096About 0.0244% per eligible encounter.
Gacha pull1 / 1001% per pull, not a 100-pull guarantee.

What to look for in the field

The README describes a shining wild Pokémon and an edge-of-screen arrow pointing toward it. Defeat it to add it to your collection. Notice the signal, but do not turn a promising run into a reckless chase through a packed group.

Our advice: create an escape route before committing to a chase. Collection goals are easier to pursue when your current attack is already clearing space reliably.

Tickets, not real-money purchases

The original game’s region gacha uses tickets earned through play. The author’s page states there are no real-money purchases. A fork selling tickets is not evidence that the original game changed its policy.

We do not sell pulls, advertise a shiny service or offer save modification. Use the creator’s game and treat unusually confident ‘guaranteed shiny’ claims with caution.

Probability is not a progress bar

A 1% rate does not tell you how many pulls your individual save will need. Repeated attempts can miss for a long time. This guide does not infer a pity system from the headline odds.
