Short answers about the original game. Checked October 14, 2026; later updates and independent forks may differ.
What is PokéSurvivor?+
PokéSurvivor is JPTER78’s free Pokémon survival roguelite for the browser. Move through enemy hordes while your active attack fires automatically, then choose moves and upgrades as you level up. It is a fan project, not an official Pokémon release.
Can I play without downloading anything?+
Yes. The creator’s game runs in a modern browser on desktop, phone and tablet. Our play page loads the original game only after you choose to load it. A direct link to the creator’s site is always available.
How do moves evolve?+
Raise an eligible move to level 5, take its required stat card in that run, then select the golden evolution card. The checked source has 59 recipes. Buff moves do not evolve, and a move evolution does not change your Pokémon’s species.
Can I play on my phone or with friends?+
Yes. Mobile play uses landscape orientation and a drag joystick. The creator’s online version supports up to four players in co-op with shared experience and teammate revives. Use the same official host when playing together.
Will my game progress be saved?+
The creator’s online FAQ says accounts save progress to the cloud, while guest progress is not saved. Offline copies and other hosts may behave differently. This guide site does not create accounts or manage your game save.
Is pokesurvivor.run the official game website?+
No. PokéSurvivor Run is an independent fan guide and game portal. The original game is at pokesurvivor.com, its creator is JPTER78, and the source is on GitHub. We do not operate its accounts, cloud saves or multiplayer servers.
Is Pokémon Survivor Burst the same game?+
No. Pokémon Survivor Burst is a separate project by ClessioTV. This website covers JPTER78’s browser game, so our controls, roster and move recipes should not be applied to Burst.
Does PokéSurvivor have an official token or NFT?+
No. The creator explicitly states that PokéSurvivor has no official cryptocurrency, token or NFT. A third-party coin using its name is not part of the game. We offer no payments, token links or investment recommendations.
